The Helsinki Finnish Adult Education Centre Työväenopisto – or Työvis for short – offers courses and hobbies for all enthusiastic learners. It is a great place to meet new people and join a new community.  

We organise annually more than 5,400 inspiring courses and about 300 lectures. Affordable prices and free lectures and events allow everyone to participate. The locations are easily accessible by public transport. 

The fall registrations begin on August 11 2025

The fall course offerings will be published on ilmonet.fi on June 2.

Printed study guides will be available in libraries on July 15 and at the college locations on August 4.

Registrations for fall 2025 courses will start in week 33 at 10:00 AM on ilmonet.fi.

• Tue, 12.8: Human and Culture, Literature and Theater, Home Economics, Nature and Environment, Technology and Transportation
• Wed, 13.8: Languages, S2
• Thu, 14.8: Sports and Dance, Well-being and Health
• Fri, 15.8: Handicrafts, Music
